The first time I came up with the term Human System Design was four years ago. The goal was to define and give a name to the peculiar design approach that I started using to articulate my practice in the design of services, organizational strategies and communities.
H-syde Human System Design (H-syide in short) is born out of the integration between service design, system thinking and intuitive pedagogy, developed through the artistic process.
During my experience with a-off! agency i gradually gathered together reflections and food for thought, which I clustered in a logbook.
And this is the story behind H-syde logbook. It is a divulgative project which aims at discovering step by step the Human System Design approach and how it can be used to redesign services, experiences, places, ways of doing and ways of living our lives. The main lenses adopted are a ecosystemic focus, with respect for humans, the environment, the society, the economy and the Earth.
